DANVILLE, CALIFORNIA: Two Bay Area sisters were found dead inside their home in Danville, California, on August 9, as per multiple news reports.

A 44-year-old man named Nemanja Isailovic who was found dead alongside the teenage sisters was believed to be their father, according to KRON4. The bodies were discovered by authorities who performed a welfare check at the residence at around 5.20 pm.

Who were Evelyn and Amelia Isailovic?

Evelyn Isailovic, 13, and Amelia Isailovic, 11, are the children of Lisa Isailovic, according to a GoFundMe page set up to meet the funeral expenses.

Lisa was reportedly the woman who requested the welfare check. Authorities believe that the sisters died in a suspected murder-suicide.

The man was first identified by the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff and the GoFundMe page identified Evelyn and Amelia as the two sisters who were found dead inside their home in Larkwood Circle.

What led to the death of Evelyn and Amelia Isailovic?

A cause of death or motive behind the alleged murders was not revealed by the Sheriff's office who, according to People, did not officially confirm the relationship of Nemanja and the two sisters.

The GoFundMe page also did not reveal information regarding Nemanja's connection to the girls. "Evie and Amelia were bright lights in our community. Both loved school, had many friends, and enjoyed many activities," read the GoFundMe page.

"Evie loved to play the bass clarinet and Amelia had recently started learning to play the trombone," wrote the GoFundMe organizer.

According to the fundraiser, the sisters aged 13, and 11, who were actively involved in the local Tassajara 4H club that "their mother was a member of when she was their age" excelled in math.

"There is no question that Evie and Amelia will be deeply missed and always remembered," read the GoFundMe description.

Since the GoFundMe campaign was set up to alleviate the sister's family's "numerous financial burdens including funeral costs," it has raised over $49,000 as of Tuesday, August 15.

Authorities of the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff are currently investigating the tragic deaths of the sisters and the man found dead alongside them.

Authorities are urging anyone with information in connection to the incident that might assist their investigation to come forward. Individuals who have any relevant information can contact the Investigation Division at 925-313-2600 or the Sheriff’s Office dispatch at 925-646-2441.
