Who is Andrea Rednick Granados? 'Jeopardy!' star's job description has fans saying 'she's living her dream'

CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA: It's always sunny in 'Jeopardy!' land where contestants keep finding ways to amuse the viewers of the game show. This time it was the job description of one of the contestants which had fans pleasantly surprised and almost jealous of her.

Andrea Rednick Granados became the subject of many laughs because of her displayed job description as a 'stay-at-home daughter.' This is quite unexpected, as contestants on 'Jeopardy!' often brag about their occupations, which are often the reason they made it onto the show.

What is Andrea Rednick Granados' job description?

While the 'Jeopardy!' contestant may have described herself as "a community organizer & stay-at-home daughter from Dallas, Texas," there is a lot more to her than that. The contestant's LinkedIn page describes her as a "Versatile Information Professional and Educator." Granados is quite the overachiever with her long list of skills and experiences in a diverse set of fields. Currently, the contestant is working as a Bilingual Canvasser for the Texas Organizing Project.

Granados earned her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004 and has worked in education for years. She is fluent in Spanish and uses English as a second language, which has given her access to other areas of teaching. The participant received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Department of Arts, Sciences, and University Transfer at Durham Technical Community College.

Andrea Rednick Granados calls her job description a 'joke'

Granados' unusual way of describing her job stood out alongside her competitors Ben Goldstein and Dan Meuse. In a thoughtful tweet on her official account, Granados assured that her 'job description' wouldn't hurt anyone, and clarified that it was just a fun play on words.

Her tweet said, "A note in advance of today's #Jeopardy! fun and games: with all respect to those who live with their parents, the joke behind "stay-at-home daughter" lies in the fact my mother is presently living with *me* and my seasonal work means I'm home a lot. Made Mom smile. Thx @Jeopardy!"

Fans call Granados' job a 'dream'

Granados' strange but hilarious job had many 'Jeopardy!' fans making fun of their own occupations. One fan reacted saying, "Using that form now on instead of unemployed and live with my parents." Another one said, "Sounds like some girl is out there living my dream." A Twitter user shared, "Catching up on todays jeopardy. One of the contestants claimed that she is a stay at home daughter. Just admit you're unemployed like the rest of us Andrea."

A fan jokingly called out the contestant saying, ""Stay at home daughter" on Jeopardy? We call them "freeloaders."" Another fan took to Twitter to exclaim, "WHAT IS A STAY AT HOME DAUGHTER? And yes, I’m yelling." In an important observation made by a 'Jeopardy!' fan, they took account of how common this kind of job description action was saying, ""Stay-at-home daughter" Andrea is the 174th Jeopardy! contestant recorded in @JArchive with the occupation "stay-at-home ___" (48 of these, including Andrea, listed a 2nd occupation as well)." There was also a graph table attached to the tweet which revealed Granados was the first one to call herself a 'stay-at-home daughter."
