What does Marieangela King do? Elijah Blue Allman's estranged wife accuses Cher of keeping her possessions

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marieangela King, singer in the rock band KING who also goes by the name Queenie, has accused her husband, Elijah Blue Allman, of ‘disappearing’ since they decided to work on saving their marriage last April.

King also accuses her mother-in-law, Cher, of keeping some of her possessions at her Malibbu mansion, where she is banned from entering, as well as interfering with Elijah's healthcare. The possessions in question include deeds to some valuable Michael Jackson artwork.

King, 36, and Elijah, 47, have had a tumultuous relationship. Since they filed for divorce in 2021, the couple changed their minds about splitting and tried to save their 10-year marriage, reported the Daily Mail.

Marieangela King alleges that Cher had her son kidnapped

According to a court declaration accessed by the Daily Mail, the legendary singer was accused by King of trying to sabotage the reconciliatory efforts of her and Elijah by hiring four men to kidnap the latter from the New York Hotel room where they were staying on their wedding anniversary.

In a later interview, Cher denied the allegation with a cryptic response, "I didn’t do it, and if I did, I wouldn’t say I did it."

Remembering the years of hardships that she went through because of her son's battle with drug addiction, Cher added, "You never stop being a mom. You go to the end. You go to the mattresses when you’re trying to save your children. But I didn’t do it."

Marieangela King and Elijah Blue Allman have been through 4 postponed trial-setting conference

The last one took place on October 27. Elijah did not show up, and his attorney Larry Ginsberg told the court, "My client has been in some difficult circumstances during the past couple of months. But once we are on a square footing, I am confident we can resolve our issues."

King appeared via video. Her attorney Regina Ratner stated, "Since April, my client has not seen Mr Allman at all. We do not know what is going on with the petitioner (Elijah) at all."

Elijah is understood to have been in drug rehab in Pasadena after he collapsed outside the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles in September, where he had been living for at least six months.

Attorneys from both sides agreed to Commissioner Duron’s continuance to give the couple more time to sort out their differences.

Marieangela King filed new declaration before October 27 hearing

"Since the trial-setting conference held on April 21, 2023, (Elijah) and I came to an agreement regarding our marital status. Both he and I agreed on a six-month stay in discovery and litigation in order to work on our marriage. Shortly after the hearing, (Elijah) disappeared and I have not seen him in person since the end of April 2023," the declaration read.

Elijah paid her $30,000 in spousal support, said King, but added that he is still $40,000 in arrears. She asked the court to order him to pay up "as a result of his lack of effort into working out our marriage."

She further claimed that she was not reimbursed for spending $15,000 to support Elijah while he lived with her in early 2023.

As for her belongings, King asked for the couple’s car, which Elijah "promised she could keep."

"I am also requesting that all my belongings and documents that were inside the car be returned to me...All these items are located at Cher’s home in Malibu, which I no longer have access to."

Apart from asking for the court's help to retrieve her clothing and furniture from a storage unit, King added, "Cher is also in possession of the deed for four pieces of artwork of Michael Jackson, called SEXY Suite, that was admittedly removed from my room by Cher while I performed at a 9/11 benefit in New York in 2021. These items are also at (Cher’s) home in Malibu."

She also requested time to investigate Elijah’s bank accounts, and discover his health records as "his mother continues to interfere with his health management as well as his locations and accessibility."

"I understand his family's efforts to make sure he is well, and I want what is best for my husband," is how King concluded her declaration.
