LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Shocking revelations have emerged in the wake of Britney Spears and Sam Asghari's split.
The circumstances surrounding Asghari's decision to end their marriage have taken a nasty turn as insiders disclose abuse accusations and the pop icon's alleged obsession with knives.
Was Sam Asghari scared of Britney Spears?
The Iranian-American model allegedly was scared of Spears as he claimed she had an obsession with knives and has attacked him while he was asleep, reported Radar Online.
In January, Asghari was photographed with a faint black eye and apparent bite marks on his arm.
When Asghari stepped out with a faint black eye, he played it off when paparaazi asked him the reason behind his injury. He also requested them not to film him.

After the news of Asghari's and Spears' divorce broke out, sources close to the couple now claim the injuries are linked to his claims of Spears' alleged abuse.
On Wednesday, August 15, the 29-year-old filed for divorce from the 41-year-old singer.
According to sources, Asghari allegedly threatened to release "embarrassing information about" his now estranged wife if she refuses to renegotiate their iron-clad prenuptial agreement.
Within hours after the divorce filing, it's alleged that the 'Anticipating' singer assaulted him several times during their seven-year relationship.
A source close to the couple claimed the security team of the singer was often forced to prevent them from fighting, reported TMZ.
A source claimed Spears began punching Asghari while he was asleep in bed. The insider also claimed that the 'Family Business' actor did not attack her back but he was in shock that he was assaulted.
According to the source, the singer "was paranoid someone was going to get her, and she needed the knives as protection," and allegedly kept the wives in their bedroom and all over their house.
The insider claimed that Asghari feared to live with Spears as she would "fly off the handle" out of nowhere.
This allegation strikes a resemblance to Jamie Lynn's accusation against Spears. The songwriter's younger sister claimed that Spears held a knife and locked her in a room.
How long was Britney Spears married to Sam Asghari?
In June 2022, Spears and Asghari tied the knot at her home in Thousand Oaks.
The 'Toxic' singer has hired Los Angeles-based celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser whose client roster includes prominent names like Kevin Costner, Kim Kardashian, and Johnny Depp.
Asghari's lawyer Neal Hersh stated that there are still matters that need to be determined in regard to the couple's prenuptial agreement.
"[Sam] is yet to determine the full nature and extent of the separate property assets and obligations of each party," said the lawyer, reported Daily Mail.
"There are various items of community and quasi-community assets and debts, the full nature and extent of which are unknown to [Sam] at this time," Hersh added.
