However, his claims have been met with substantial criticism, similar to what happened when he claimed to be of Irish descent.
Tristan Tate claims he is Irish
In a recent X (formerly Twitter) post, Tristan Tate once again delved into discussions about his heritage and ethnicity, asserting his Irish roots this time.
He referenced his grandfather and wrote, "Never forget that I myself am Irish. Grandad was from Limerick and I stand with my fellow Irishmen. Irish Lives Matter."
This isn't the first instance of him addressing his ethnicity on the platform. Previously, Tate had made assertions about being a descendant of African-American slaves.
In another post, he also claimed to be half-Black. These claims by Tate have sparked significant controversy, with many individuals criticizing him and viewing these statements as a means to inflate his ego.

Soon after Tristan Tate posted about being Irish, several users came forward to share their perspectives on his statement.
A user wrote, "Do you know this by blood or DNA test?"
Another called him out, saying, "Brother, you say that you’re every single race," reading this remark, Tate himself came forward to reply to him and wrote, "My white mother is half English half Irish. It isn't hard."
"Bro weren't you just black?" inquired someone else, while a person noted, "Thought you were American? Then half black? Then English? Then and now Irish too, what else you got? abit of 2% Mexican in there too?"
