LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Robert De Niro, 79, is planning to propose to his 45-year-old girlfriend Tiffany Chen following the recent birth of their 7th child. Although hesitant about marriage, De Niro, who turns 80 in August, is inspired by newfound parenthood to solidify their relationship.
A source revealed the legendary thespian's excitement about becoming a father again, saying, "Bob rarely shows emotion in public, but his friends will tell you he’s very excited to be a dad again — even at his age.” He plans on being hands-on with the new baby, according to Radar Online.

As fans know, De Niro introduced his newborn while promoting his film ‘About My Father’. When asked about his six children, he corrected the interviewer, stating he had "just had a baby." De Niro has two children with his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, twin sons with his ex, Toukie Smith, and two more with his ex-wife, Grace Hightower. A few days later, De Niro disclosed to Gayle King that the baby girl's name was Gia Virginia Chen De Niro, weighing 8 lbs,6 oz.
Another insider mentioned that despite his busy schedule, Tiffany often accompanies De Niro for shoots. "Bob’s constantly working, but Tiffany often accompanies him on location — and now they’ll have the baby with them," the source said.
‘She’s really great for him’
De Niro's previous marriage to Hightower concluded with a contentious legal dispute over finances. After being married for 21 years, they eventually reached a settlement in late 2021, three years after initiating divorce proceedings. "Bobby’s not totally soured on marriage, though you think he would be because of Grace," sources said. "But Tiffany is safe and sweet and kind, and she doesn’t feel inhibited by their age difference.”

Despite past experiences, De Niro hasn't entirely lost faith in marriage, particularly due to his positive relationship with Tiffany. Chen was previously involved in De Niro's legal battle with ex-employee Graham Robinson, where communications between De Niro and Chen were requested. The case is still ongoing.
