BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Tiffany Haddish was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence on Friday, November 24, marking her second arrest on DUI charges in just two years.

Tiffany Haddish arrested just hours after Thanksgiving performance

As per the outlet, Haddish, who is anticipated to be released on Friday, had given a special Thanksgiving performance at West Hollywood's Laugh Factory just hours before her arrest.

The event was held as part of the venue's 43rd annual free feast for locals.

Following the show, the 43-year-old comedian went out to celebrate on Thursday, November 23, sharing an Instagram clip of herself dancing at Yachtley Crew's concert.

On the same night, Haddish shared another video in which she humorously expressed her desire to embrace her East African roots by being part of the Habesha party in Inglewood.

She playfully lamented about not being allowed into the club.

Tiffany Haddish's arrest for DUI in 2022

Haddish had previously been arrested for driving under the influence in January 2022.

During her first arrest, she was taken into custody in Atlanta after authorities responded to a call of someone asleep driving the vehicle.

At the time, she was charged with DUI and improper stopping on a roadway.

The 'Back on the Strip' actress posted a bond amount of $1,666 and was eventually released from custody.

Later that month, Haddish addressed the situation during her appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.'

"I've been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man. God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform," Haddish said of her newfound attraction to uniformed men.

"I wasn't expecting it. I was not expecting that at all. Now, I've got a really great lawyer, and we're going to work it out. I've got to get my asking of things to God a little better," she added.

Haddish further explained that she had been finding it difficult to process a lot of grief, including the sudden death of fellow comedian Bob Saget at the age of 65 and her grandmother, both of whom died in January 2022.

"He was the first white man to ever tell me, 'Just be yourself, just be who you are, Tiffany. Don't worry about nothing, just be you,'" Haddish said of Saget.

"And that was huge for me. And then my grandma passed away and she saved my life, that's my heart, she was like my soulmate. So that's been really hard to process, all this grief," she added.
