NASHVILLE, TENNESSE: Navigating mental health issues, particularly during the tumultuous teenage years, can be challenging, especially without support. Savannah Chrisley shared that her suicide attempt coincided with the time her family started filming their reality series 'Chrisley Knows Best' on USA Network when she was around 15 or 16 years old. The daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley struggled with her mental health, experiencing a "foggy" sense of upbringing. Frustrated by her situation, she resorted to taking a large number of pills in an attempt to end her life.

However, Savannah emphasizes that her father's unwavering support and willingness to share his own trauma played a pivotal role in helping her heal. The 25-year-old reality star spoke about her father's support amid the news of their tax evasion and fraud charges that were imposed on Todd and Julie Chrisley in November 2022. The couple has been serving a prison sentence since January 2023.
