Paige Spiranac unveils inner turmoil and triumphs of her golf swing experience: 'I hate and love it so much'

WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO:Paige Spiranac needs no introduction for golf fans on social media. A former professional golfer, and Internet sensation Spiranac never shies to share her struggles with training and mindset while playing golf. She has often revealed why she has a ‘love-hate’ relationship with the sport.

Earlier On 'Playing a round with Paige Renee’, she told her fans about the difficulty she faced that led to her quitting professional golf. She discussed her struggles with rage while participating in the sport. Spiranac also discussed her methods for overcoming her problems. Recently, the golf diva took the new Twitter rival platform, Threads, to share her views on golfing.

'Man I hate golf and love it so much at the same time'

On Threads, she wrote, "I'll never get over how one day my golf swing can feel better than ever and the next it's like I've never held a golf club before. Man I hate golf and love it so much at the same time." It's not the first time she has expressed, something like this. Spiranac explained how golf does not have the same luxury as team sports, where a player who becomes injured may be replaced. Players must maintain constant fitness and consistency with each shot if they want to stay competitive in golf.

She said, “The reason why I’m not playing professionally is that between the ears for me, I am a complete headcase to the point where I get Yips, I freak myself out. I have like anger issues on the golf course.” She loves and hates the sport at same time. She said, "It’s like a toxic relationship. It’s toxic cycle of some days, you’re playing so great. And then you have a bad day you want to quit and then something good happens. It keeps you back in it. And it’s like we’re constantly in this roundabout of like, we love it. We hate it. We love it. We hate it. And that’s what makes it so taxing."

'There's a reason golf is a four letter word'

At the time of writing, around 121 people commented on Spiranac's post while there were near 1100 likes. A user wrote,"There's a reason golf is a four letter word". The second user wrote, "Seriously lol, but it's the good swings/rounds that keep us coming back!" The third user wrote,"Oh, I think every golfer knows that pain and frustration when, as you said, it feels like someone handed you a club for the first time." While the fourth user wrote,"I sometimes feel my swing gets worse in my dreams. Like I dream that I can't swing for s**t and then... we'll, reality is most days I can't swing for s**t.."
