LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jay Cohen, an American real estate agent, is well-known for being the beloved husband of Hollywood actress Lisa Vidal.

Jay and Lisa got married on January 6, 1990, and have maintained a strong bond for 33 years.

Despite being married to the star of 'The Division', Jay has maintained a very private life, keeping details such as his childhood, parents, siblings, and education away from the public eye.

Who are Lisa Vidal's ex-business managers?

According to Vidal, she engaged in an agreement with DLD and Duban in 2013, in which they were designated to serve as her business manager and CPA tax advisor.

Under this arrangement, their responsibilities included overseeing her personal and entertainment company's financial affairs, handling tax-related matters, and managing bill payments.

Why are Lisa Vidal and her husband suing her ex-business manager?

The couple alleges that their manager did not fulfill their designated responsibilities. The lawsuit states that they frequently issued incorrect checks and made payments to the wrong recipients.

“They also routinely wrote checks and made payments with inaccurate sums to the wrong entities,” the suit reads. As a result, Vidal was hit with a $15k tax liens by the IRS and California Franchise Tax Board in 2015, she claims.

“The IRS and the FTB sent numerous mailings to defendants regarding the tax assessment, none of which were disclosed to plaintiffs. Eventually, the IRS created a tax lien in the approximate amount of $400,000.00. Plaintiffs were unaware of the tax lien,” the suit adds.

Furthermore, Vidal discovered that the defendants had been making "requests for funds" from her 401k and transferring them to her checking account.

Vidal is seeking more than $2 million in compensation.

How did Lisa Vidal's son die?

Scott Cohen, aged 28, tragically took his own life on April 11, with the official cause of death being recorded as two gunshot wounds to the head, according to Radar.com.

Police discovered proof that Scott Cohen, the deceased son of Lisa, was involved in drug trafficking at the time of his death.

The report says, “There was no suicide note found. There was evidence of drug use and sales throughout the home.”

“An empty prescription bottle of Alprazolam prescribed to the decedent was found,” the investigator said. The report notes, “Occupying a coffee table positioned in front of the decedent were multiple plastic bags seen holding a white powder-like substance."

The officer stated, "Additional white powder was seen dispersed on the coffee table with a green straw. Loose white powder atop of a credit card with other sealed containers holding packaged white powder were observed beside the decedent to his south."

"There was additional paraphernalia present which indicated drug sales. This consisted of multiple cell phones, cash, and containers holding small plastic bags for packaging," the report said.

It added, "A handgun was at his feet, along with an expended casing in the couch and defects within a freezer and wall. Additional live cartridges were found loaded in the magazine of the gun with matching headstamps to the casing found in the couch. In his bedroom was an open lockbox where matching ammunition was found."

Several weeks following Scott's death, Lisa penned a heartfelt tribute to her son on social media.

Lisa said, “My dear friends... my heart is broken, shattered into 1 million pieces.... I’m in catastrophic grief... I’m sharing with you that my beautiful baby boy, my angel, my sweet son is gone... a piece of my heart has been torn away... my beloved Scott Jarred Cohen passed away."

"Son, in the deepest part of my soul I know that you are resting peacefully with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that he has you wrapped in his arms... how I loved you son... so very deeply... how I will always love you," she added.
