JUPITER, FLORIDA: Lara Trump, 40, the wife of Eric Trump, recently participated in the Tampa General Hospital Loggerhead Triathlon and was placed third in her age group.
The younger daughter-in-law of the Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump, Lara was seen celebrating the moments of success with her two children. The children looked ecstatic as Lara put her third-placed medal around her toddler son’s neck.
In order to earn the medal, the fitness enthusiast had to finish her in one hour and 19 minutes. She had to do a three-mile (five kilometers) run, 3/8-mile swim, and 13-mile bike ride at Carlin Park in Jupiter, Florida, per Daily Mail.
Lara was dressed in Betty Design athletic bikini top and pink-and-black triathlon shorts. Her Argon 18 bicycle reportedly costs between $2,000 to $10,000.
The news outlet reports that while she was seen taking photographs with her friends after the race, she wasn’t present to collect her award.
Lara supports Donald Trump
Lara Trump’s participation in the triathlon came within a few days of her voicing support for her father-in-law during a Fox interview.
She opined Trump’s booking on criminal charges in Georgia “solidified” his chance of winning the Presidential election in 2024.
She said, “I don’t think it will work. I think people understand what is going on, and I think tonight just solidified Donald Trump as the 47th president of the United States,” per The Hill.
It has been reported that Trump enjoys a large lead in the Republican Party for being the candidate. However, the polls showed he almost tied with President Biden in the head-to-head segment.
She opined that will change saying, “His poll numbers continue to rise every single time they try to throw something like this his way because I think it becomes more and more obvious to the country what they’re trying to do and why it is so dangerous – why this precedent can not succeed here in America.”
Lara Trump commented further, “I kinda feel like this is our last chance to save this country.”
