Joe Rogan unleashes comic flair, delights fans with hilarious UFC 264 memes featuring himself

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan has never shied away from embracing the internet's criticism and rejection of his numerous provocative opinions and pronouncements. In the aftermath of UFC 264, the comedian and longtime UFC commentator appear to be doing the same.

Rogan received anger from MMA fans after interviewing Conor McGregor in the octagon, prompting him to shout at Dustin Poirier and his wife Jolie Poirier. McGregor was also chastised, but many people blame Rogan for being insensitive. The internet's unofficial rule states that his deeds must be validated by many memes.

Memes after UFC 264 featured Rogan interviewing

Following UFC 264, various memes surfaced online depicting Rogan with a microphone attempting to interview the most vulnerable victims as they lay in agony. In one of the Instagram posts, Rogan published possibly the most contentious and dubious meme of the bunch, in which he was photoshopped onto a historic and heartbreaking image of the Twin Towers moments after the 9/11 attacks.

Rogan is seen attempting to interview the World Trade Center towers as they are consumed in flames and smoke and are on the verge of being demolished. Rogan also tweeted another meme in which he is transformed into the classic black-and-white image of Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist monk Thich Quang Duc burning himself to death on the streets of Saigon in 1963. The monk did this to draw attention to the persecution of Buddhists by the South Vietnamese government, led by fanatical Roman Catholic Ngo Dinh Diem.

While these are historical photographs with immense significance for humanity, there are also light-hearted Rogan memes on the internet. One depicts him attempting to interview a nearly dead Tony Stark following the snap at the end of 'Avengers: Endgame.' Another shows Rogan interviewing a limbless Anakin Skywalker in 'Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith,' after Obi-Wan Kenobi abandoned him vanquished on the volcanic planet of Mustafar. A 'Game of Thrones' joke depicts Rogan interviewing a distraught Jon Snow after he drives a blade through Daenerys Targaryen's heart.

'Internet is the greatest worst thing'

Following US President Joe Biden's tragic fall at a US Air Force Academy graduation, a meme of Rogan interviewing Biden was created. People are reacting to Biden's resignation with memes and laughter. Biden fell over a sandbag while shaking hands with graduating cadets, resulting in a viral incident on Instagram that has turned him into a meme.

Rogan, a long-time UFC commentator, shared the humorous image on Instagram with the caption, "The internet is the greatest worst thing that's ever happened." Bidden has been knocked down before. In December 2021, he was hurt as he stumbled on the stairs of his plane, but he recovered and saluted. In June 2022, he also fell off his bicycle but was unharmed.
