Joe Rogan dubs Lewis Hamilton endorsed brand's energy drink 'piss magnets' months after calling F1 legend 'psycho'

AUSTIN, TEXAS: F1 legend Lewis Hamilton is an iconic name, as is the name of one of the world's most famous podcasters, Joe Rogan. Outspoken Rogan labeled Lewis Hamilton and Co. as "psychos" last year.

'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast host is yet back again with another insult point targeted towards a billion dollar brand that Lewis Hamilton endorses. But this time it's on a different brand.

'It's like piss magnets'

On a recent episode of the JRE podcast with Theo Von, Joe Rogan once again chose to criticize Lewis Hamilton, but this time, the focus was on the multibillion-dollar brand he endorses, the energy drink giant 'Monster' valued at $57.7 billion. When Lewis Hamilton joined the team in 2013, Mercedes' association with the company helped him secure endorsements. Joe Rogan criticized the brand during the podcast, stating, “Drinking like Monster energy drink sometimes, which are like piss magnets. They’re delicious but they make you want to pee.” In response, Theo Von made a humorous comment, saying, "Make you want to beat your wife dude. I have seen a lot of dudes drinking monster that you know they are going home to punch."

'They are psychos'

Joe Rogan is well renowned for his involvement with the UFC. However, he is most well-known for his podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience. It is not the first time Rogan has weighed in on Hamilton's brand. Previously, the UFC commentator and Andrew Schulz discussed F1, Netflix's DTS, and the teams on one of their podcasts last year. Talking about F1, Schulz said, “I got really into that F1 during the pandemic. I watched Drive to Survive. The culture behind it is like they’re all f***ing kids, they’re all so competitive.” To which Rogan replied, “They’re psychos, yeah, they’re psychos!”

Nevertheless, given that F1 is the fastest-growing sport in the world, many companies want to connect their name with an F1 team. In a nutshell, an F1 car is a big billboard covered with sponsors that give money to these teams. However, as Ryan Reynolds just showed recently, sponsorship isn't the only way to be noticed in F1.
