Jamie Foxx's co-star Porscha Coleman gives an update on his health: 'He is doing well'

ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Porscha Coleman has a reliable update on Jamie Foxx’s health. According to the ‘Maneater’ actress, the ‘Ray’ star is ‘doing well,’ after she talked with some of the closest people to him. "I've talked to people very close to Foxx, [he] is doing well. I hate that the media outlets kept running with the narrative of what was going on without having the proper information."

A few weeks ago, Foxx’s representative clarified the claim by Dr Drew Pinksky on his show that it was the Covid vaccine that injured the star. The representative calls the report ‘completely inaccurate.’ Coleman and Foxx worked together in the ‘Dad Stop Embarrassing Me’ flick. She further told Entertainment Tonight, "As I said, Foxx is somebody that I've always looked up to, and he's just a mind-blowing personality to be around because whatever's on the paper he's not going to do. So, you have to understand and be prepared; when Jamie is going somewhere you better go right there with him! So, I look forward to seeing him. I know he's doing great and he'll be back, trust and believe. He got a lot of projects coming up, a lot of music that I already know he has. So, I'm excited. I love you Foxx!"

'Recuperating'

Many rumors were doing the rounds since there was no official clarity on the reason that led to Foxx’s hospitalization. Reports went viral that he is ‘partially paralyzed’, ‘blind,’ developed a ‘blood clot,’ and had a ‘stroke. The ‘Django Unchained’ star’s daughter Corinne made a statement that her father is ‘out of the hospital for weeks’ and expressed her disappointment with a few media outlets who were posting inaccurate information. “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support! We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”

'They said a stroke'

Boxing legend Mike Tyson claimed in May that Foxx suffered a stroke, which hasn’t been confirmed or denied by his reps. “He’s not feeling well. They said a stroke. Hey, listen, we can’t anticipate our next breath. We don’t know when we are gonna die. … After we leave, this bad stuff can happen,” reports PageSix.
