BROOKLYN, NEW YORK: An unexpected incident occurred during Drake's 'It's All a Blur' Tour concert on Thursday, July 20, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The renowned rapper paused his performance abruptly when a fan threw a vape onto the stage, disrupting the show's flow.

A video posted from the concert venue captured the moment when Drake questioned the crowd, saying, "Did you throw a vape over here? Come on. Who threw this? Who threw the vape?" Clearly displeased by the fan's action, Drake openly expressed his disapproval during the performance and took the opportunity to address his audience to take life more seriously.

Thankfully, Drake was not physically hurt by the vape pen, as it did not touch him. However, he expressed anger and frustration over the incident. "There's no way you're taking life seriously if you think I'm gonna pick this vape up and vape with you at the f**king Barclays Center. You've got some real-life evaluating to do," the rapper stated. He then proceeded to kick the vape around the stage, eventually, picking it up and informing the audience that it must be "lemon mint" flavored.

'I applaud him for calling out a fan for throwing a vape on stage'

The incident elicited mixed reactions from the crowd at the Barclays Center. While some fans supported Drake's stance and understood his frustration with the disruptive behavior, others were left bewildered by the situation. One fan wrote on Twitter, "Good for Drake! I applaud him for calling out a fan for throwing a vape on stage! Three things fans need to STOP DOING: 1) Throwing objects on stage. 2) Smoking and 3) Vaping. Thank you." Another agreed, saying, "no bc it’s actually scary. apparently not even doctors know what the long term effects of vaping are yet." "You got some real life evaluating to do if you vape at all tbh," expressed a third user.

Meanwhile, some complained saying other artists like Doja Cat or Lana Del Ray would have vaped with them. One user wrote, "See this is why I would’ve gone to Doja [Cat] instead my girl would’ve taken a puff with me and enjoyed herself not complained," while another added, "I’m surprised tbh, I figured Drake would’ve done it, but if this was Doja…" "They thought it was a Lana [Del Ray] show," wrote one, while a user added, "Not the lana shade..."
