'He hates humanity': Joe Rogan's Elon Musk vs George Soros clip goes viral as Internet rallies behind Tesla tycoon

AUSTIN, TEXAS: In a candid two-hour conversation on Joe Rogan's podcast, Elon Musk, the renowned CEO of various innovative companies including SpaceX and Tesla, made bold claims regarding billionaire financier George Soros.

During this discussion, Musk and Rogan were seen swilling what appeared to be whiskey and smoking cigars, and the former did not hold back in his critique of Soros.

Elon Musk says George Soros 'hates humanity'

According to the Daily Mail, Musk's comments represented a continuation of his ongoing feud with Soros, which began in May when Soros publicly divested from Tesla.

Musk alleged that Soros "hates humanity" due to his support for policies that, in Musk's view, "erode the fabric of civilization."

"He is I believe the top contributor to the Democratic party," Musk told Rogan. "The second one was Sam Bankman-Fried. And Soros, he had a very difficult upbringing. In my opinion, he fundamentally hates humanity. That's my opinion."

Musk expressed his concerns about the influence of progressive district attorneys backed by Soros, whom he believes are pursuing policies he considers "soft on crime."

"He's doing things that erode the fabric of civilization - getting DAs elected who refuse to prosecute crime," Musk emphasized. "That's part of the problem in San Francisco, and LA, and a bunch of other cities. So why would you do that?"

Moreover, Musk firmly stated that his concerns about Soros were not confined to the United States alone but extended globally.

According to Musk, Soros has been actively supporting progressive causes and district attorneys worldwide, making this a concern that spans international boundaries.

"He's pushing things in other countries as well," Musk noted during the podcast.

Musk's view on Soros' leadership

Musk also insisted that Soros may be "basically a bit senile at this point." In June, George Soros handed control of his vast philanthropic empire, the Open Society Foundations, to his 37-year-old son, Alex.

Alex Soros has announced plans to broaden the foundation's priorities to include voting and abortion rights, as well as gender equity.

Taking the opportunity, Musk, while critical of Soros, did not dismiss his financial acumen. He described Soros as "very good at arbitrage," referring to his famous shorting of the British pound in 1992, which garnered him substantial wealth.

Musk elaborated, "He's very good at arbitrage - famously he shorted the British pound." Arbitrage, in financial terms, involves identifying opportunities for profit that others may overlook. "That's how I think he made his first money," the SpaceX CEO explained.

Musk's argument was that Soros recognized a unique opportunity in local races and district attorney positions.

According to Musk, Soros realized that influencing these roles allowed him to drive policies he supported by changing the way laws were enforced, rather than altering the laws themselves.

"One of the things he noticed is that the value for money in local races is much higher than it is in national races," Musk continued.

"The lowest value for money is a presidential race. The next lowest value for money is a senate race, then a congress. And when you get to city and state district attorneys the value for money is extremely good."

Social media reactions

Musk's comments about Soros on the podcast quickly ignited strong reactions on social media, with many supporters applauding his bold stance. Many saw his remarks as a call to action to regain influence at the local level.

"Agree we need to take our country back starting at the local levels," one posted on X.

"Elon Musk is speaking the truth," another wrote.

"We all see it...but Elon has the gonads to say it on Joe Rogan. I guess the media will cry about Joe Rogan getting more views again," a comment read.

"Musk is one of the few people with a massive audience willing to call out Soros. And always protect humanity," another offered.

"Elon Musk is at war with the elite it would seem," someone else chimed in.
