Has xQc ended friendship with Pokelawls? Kick star discusses his relationship with Twitch streamer: 'We're on a different schedule'

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Kick streamer Felix "xQc" addressed a controversial incident from a prior livestream on Wednesday. The French-Canadian personality abruptly interrupted his broadcast on Tuesday, when his friend and fellow Twitch content creator Georgie "Pokelawls" challenged him. During Wednesday's livestream, xQc discussed his relationship with the Twitch streamer stating why he was upset.

The streamers' video sparked a lot of discussion on Reddit, with users speculating if there was any animosity between xQc and Pokelawls. In response to fan curiosity, xQc stated that there were "no sides" between him and Pokelawls. He then accepted responsibility for his acts, which he said, "eroded everything."

'We're on a different schedule'

The streamer then referenced his move to Kick, saying he knew he'd be "really alone" and that dealing with the circumstance would be difficult. xQc stated that having a friend by his side gave him confidence. As a result, he began to spend more time with streamer JesseSMFI than he did with Pokelawls. xQc questioned, "I asked Jesse more time during the swap (to Kick) so that if he could be there for me during the swap... right?"

So that if things get weird and things get hard, he's going to be, like, a pillar of strength for me. Okay? And, what that caused is that, one - yeah, that's cool and all. Right? But, at the same time... I kind of eroded the friendship that I had with Poke and Jesse because we're on a different schedule. I was kind of going through it," he added.

The discussion began eight minutes into the most recent broadcast when xQc addressed his viral interaction with Pokelawls. He stated, "Yesterday I was mald (because) some people were talking s**t and saying like, 'Oh, my god, dude, he's bricking the house.' And people were, like, taking sides between Poke and me. There's no sides. Okay? One - there's no sides. Okay? That's just f**king stupid! Okay?"

xQc, a former Overwatch pro, then claimed to have done something he thought was not that horrible. Things ultimately "eroded" as a result of this scenario. He continued, "I did something that I didn't think was bad and it ended up eroding everything. And, I'll take accountability for what I did. Okay?" xQc mentioned his $100 million deal with Kick, saying he was expecting to be "really alone." He stated that having an "ally" by his side through difficult times makes him feel more powerful.

French-Canadian streamer said during Twitch streaming, "When I swapped to Kick, okay, I knew that I would be, like, really alone and it would be difficult. Okay? To just do my thing. Whenever I have somebody with me, like, M0xyy or Jesse anybody else - a friend that's beside me, I feel more confident. I can deal with the world when I have somebody next to me and he's like, 'We got this!' An ally."

To deal with the situation, xQc sought out Twitch broadcaster JesseSMFI's friendship, which ended up "eroding" his bond with Pokelawls. Continuing, xQc stated, "I didn't mean it to be like that. I really needed him to be there and I didn't feel like I was taking him away. But, I kind of was in a way and I kind of feel guilty and I'll take accountability for that. And, I'm sorry I did that and it was bad, and I feel bad I did all that."

'This is worse than people imagined'

The xQc video got viral on Reddit, with over 263 community members commenting. A user wrote, "Some how this is worse than people imagined." Another user added, "Poke should've warned himself." A fan mentioned, "Tbf Poke has done the same s**t it’s been a pattern. But in this specific case it’s probably just Pokes mom is moving in and he wants X out, thats it." "No f**king way poke started drama over this wtf," added another.
