Colby Covington believes Logan Paul would easily win over Dillon Danis: 'That guy can’t throw a punch'

CLEVELAND, OHIO: UFC fighter Colby Covington gave his prediction for the Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis fight and said that the latter would get dominated by Paul.

Online troll Dillon Danis is most known for being Conor McGregor's friend. Although appearing as a professional fighter, he has only competed in two Bellator matches. He will take on Logan Paul in a boxing match on October 14, 2023.

Colby Covington’s prediction for the October 14 fight

Colby Covington revealed predicted the winner of the highly anticipated fight during a conversation with James Lynch. The California native disregarded Danis as a fighter, believing the Bellator competitor did not have any skill to strike, and projected that he would be outclassed by Paul.

“D*ldo Danis is not a fighter. That guy can’t throw a punch; he literally couldn’t punch his way out of a wet paper bag. So the guy shouldn’t be there. He’s just there to get his a*s whooped by Logan, and, you know, I think Logan starches him,” Covington told James Lynch.

The welterweight continued by saying that he wasn't particularly up on the fight's legend. He claimed that both competitors were more comparable to a circus spectacle than genuine combatants. He further added that he didn't care how they fought.

“I haven’t really been paying attention to it because it’s a circus sideshow. Bro, like these guys, aren’t real fighters… I just, I could care less about their fight,” he added.

Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis

Logan Paul has stated that Jake Paul is "worried" about attending his fight against Dillon Danis because it will be a "hostile" environment for him in the UK.

Jake Paul has pursued some well-known opponents since entering the boxing scene. He has engaged in verbal sparring with people like Conor McGregor, Dana White, Tyson Fury, and Floyd Mayweather to promote and grow his own matches.

As far as conflicts with other creators go, KSI is pretty much his longest-running foe at this point as the two have been at each other's throats for almost ten years. Even now, they are still making a big deal out of a future clash.

Therefore, it seems logical that he could be a bit concerned about the response he'd encounter in that melting pot of opponents given that his brother Logan is competing in the UK on a fight card that also features KSI and Tommy Fury, whom Jake lost to in January.
