FOLLY BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA: The family of bride Samantha Hutchinson, 34, who tragically died in a crash on April, 28 hours after taking her wedding vows has revealed her last words to her husband Aric Hutchinson. Samantha wanted the moments "to last forever" right before she was cut short by a DUI driver Jamie Komoroski, hitting their golf cart as they were being escorted out of the wedding venue.

In the incident, Aric has been left injured and is wheelchair-bound with broken legs, multiple facial injuries, and concussions. The golf cart reportedly rolled multiple times before coming to a stop completely mangled.

'This was a conscious choice': Samantha Miller’s mom slams DUI killer Jamie Lee Komoroski

'I want this day to last forever'

"She looked at him on the golf cart and said 'I want this day to last forever,'" her sister Mandi Jenkins told The Today Show, two weeks after the tragedy. Samantha's mother, Lisa Miller also recalled looking at her that day. "My first thought was that Sam finally has the love that she always wanted,' Miller said. "There was so much happiness."

However, tragedy struck shortly after the couple exchanged their vows. Miller heard the sirens and immediately realized her daughter was in trouble. "Something happened to Sam, I literally screamed it," she said. Jamie as per the toxicology report had a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit. On being asked what would be the justice for you, Lisa said, "A lot of people referred to it as an accident and we feel it's not like an accident. She made that consciousness recession, so it is not an accident."

'She would've loved it. This is Sam, she's a beach girl'

"She would've loved it. This is Sam, she's a beach girl, through and through," Aric said as per Daily Mail. "We do walk here almost every morning, and this is her send-off for sure. She's up there smiling for sure." He continued, "I'm feeling pretty good. My body's getting back to where I can manage." He further added, "It's a little overwhelming, they're sincere, genuine, good-hearted people that are just reaching out that felt a reason to, or somehow they were touched by Sam. "It just means the world. She left that impact."

At least a hundred people, including Aric Hutchinson, gathered on Folly Beach on Saturday to paddle out into the water and toss flowers into the water in remembrance of Samantha. Each flower's stem bore the name Sam, as per the report.
