BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Recently, German environmental activists have been protesting against their government by glueing their hands on the concrete road. Andrew Tate came across the video and took a swipe at activists in pain.

Eco-activists criticized the increasing number of air passengers and associated emissions, calling for concrete plans to achieve the required emission reduction targets. Their demand for a societal council to phase out fossil fuel usage by 2030 was reiterated.

'It’s hard to hide the sympathy'

A Twitter user shared a video of German authorities attempting to free activist's hands from the road while he screamed in pain. The video's caption read, "German Eco activist screams in pain after emergency service workers try to unstick his hand after he glued himself to the road."

Tate reshared and commented on the aforementioned video, jokingly stating that he sympathizes with the activists. Tate shared a video in which he was seen relishing the pain of eco-activists while smoking hookah. Tate wrote, "It’s hard to hide the sympathy on my face as I watch this video."

Last Generation and other German climate activists have blocked important roadways in Berlin, causing traffic bottlenecks for commuters. The group is protesting against the government's climate change initiatives as well as the government's violation of the constitution, which does not safeguard livelihoods.

'Chop the hand off'

Tate's reaction on the video divided the internet. Many of his admirers stood in support, whereas many criticised him for mocking at climate activists. "I would've gone a much more thorough, quicker route. Chop the hand off," said a Twitter user. A user wrote, "How long you keep mocking climate activists. STOP it." One user noticed Tate's bogus sympathy and named it as, "The hookah sympathy." "Imagine stealing the valuable time of Firefighters to concrete your hand to the road... they shouod just leave them there until they figure out how to escape on their own! This foolishness would stop real fast," a Tate's fan said.
